Former U.S. President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump called for an end to the war in Gaza in an interview with the newspaper "Israel Hayom." Trump told the paper, "You need to end your war," adding, "We need to achieve peace, and we cannot let this continue." He further stated, "Israel must be very careful because you are losing a lot of the world, and a lot of support." This is the second time Trump has called for an end to the war in Gaza. Last month, he urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to quickly end the war in the region during an interview on "Fox News." Trump also pledged to restore "peace" in the Middle East after winning the next presidential election. He has expressed support for "Israel" in recent months but has refrained from publicly supporting Netanyahu.
