Italy: Israel Kills a Large Number of Civilians in Gaza

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani stated today, Thursday, that "Israel is killing an extremely large number of civilians in its military operation in the Gaza Strip." In an interview with Italian television channel "Canale 5," Tajani said: "The Israeli military operation against the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement (Hamas) is causing an exceedingly high number of civilian casualties." He added that "the Israeli response to the attacks of October 7, launched by Hamas, has sometimes exceeded proportionality, but it does not reach the level of genocide in any case."
