Fire in Addiction Treatment Center in Egypt Leaves Casualties

Four people have died and seven others were injured today, Tuesday, inside an addiction treatment center in Ismailia, Egypt. The Director of Security in Ismailia, Major General Hisham Marwan, received a notification about a fire breaking out in the treatment center. The Governor of Ismailia, Major General Sherif Bashara, ordered the swift aid for the injured and informed the security authorities and the Health Directorate. The seven injured were transferred to the university hospital for treatment, and the three deceased were taken to the medical complex in Ismailia. Investigations are currently ongoing by the relevant authorities.
