Sulaiman Al-Shathri, Chairman of "Intra" Technologies, announced the complete design of the "Samoom" drone system, one of Saudi Arabia's drone manufacturing projects. In an interview with "Al-Ikhbariya" channel, Al-Shathri noted that the mentioned aircraft was unveiled at the 2022 Defense Exhibition, where it was first presented to the public.
Al-Shathri highlighted that the design has now been finalized and testing phases have begun. He indicated that the "Samoom" drone is a system in demand both locally and regionally, as well as internationally. He added: "The drone flies at an altitude of nearly 50,000 feet, is capable of carrying a large amount of weaponry, and is expected to be operational by the end of 2025."
