Israel Prepares on the Border with Lebanon

Attention is directed towards the southern Lebanon front, which has experienced the effects of the Gaza truce, just as the war transferred its intensity there, varying in pace and nature since the start of Operation "Al-Aqsa Flood" on October 7, 2023. Since this morning, no violations have been recorded along the entire border area, and there have been no unusual Israeli movements. However, aircraft continue to fly over many villages and towns, especially those closer to the border. The Israeli army conducted a sweep with medium machine guns around the monastery site opposite the town of Aita al-Shaab. While "Al-Arabiya" reported that the Israeli army raised its alert status on the border with Lebanon, the movement of UNIFIL forces appeared normal and routine in terms of movements and executing some daily tasks. Israeli media noted that the home front has tightened its directives to residents in the Golan Heights and along the border with Lebanon. This morning, the truce between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, which began on November 24, came to an end, and fighting resumed between the two parties.
