The General Directorate of Personal Status issued the following statement: "Following the issuance of the 2024 budget, under law number 324 dated 12/2/2024, and its publication in the official gazette number 7 dated 15/2/2024, and based on Article 66 of the mentioned law, specifically items 24 bis and 26, the General Directorate of Personal Status informs citizens of the fees that have been amended in the budget as follows: - 400,000 L.L. (Four hundred thousand Lebanese Liras) for the issuance of any individual or family civil status statement, or for executing vital documents (marriage, birth, death, divorce). - 20,000 L.L. (Twenty thousand Lebanese Liras) for the authentication of any document issued by the General Directorate of Personal Status (individual or family civil status statement and documents for marriage, birth, death, divorce). These fees are to be paid using revenue stamps or payment notifications. Note that these fees do not include those to be collected upon submission of applications (e.g., the mukhtar's stamp, etc.)."
