The Egyptian Fatwa House issued a statement regarding the Israeli airstrikes in the city of Rafah, Gaza, calling for the necessity of uniting all international and regional efforts to stop these attacks, as Rafah is the last safe area in the Gaza Strip. The Egyptian Fatwa House stated in a post on its official account on the "X" platform that what it described as "the brutal attacks by the Israeli entity on displaced children, women, and civilians in Rafah, South Gaza (is a war crime)," adding to a series of brutal Israeli crimes and assaults against the Palestinian people who are demanding their legitimate rights.
The Egyptian Fatwa House added that this occurs "at a time when the occupation forces disregard international laws and humanitarian principles, amid total silence from the international community," according to the statement. The Egyptian Fatwa House concluded its post by stating: "We therefore call for the necessity of uniting all international and regional efforts, and we appeal to all rational individuals around the world and international organizations to stop the brutal Israeli attacks on Rafah city, which hosts nearly 1.4 million Palestinians who have fled there, as it is the last safe area in the Gaza Strip."
