The water in one of the rivers in Birmingham, England, has turned a bloody red color, a sign commonly interpreted as an indication of the impending "end of the world." The Birmingham City Council has launched an investigation into this phenomenon observed in the river, which some people view as a potential sign of the Day of Judgment, according to the Daily Mail.
"I have been made aware of the strange happening in Perry Common Meadows and I am having it investigated," tweeted Councillor Jilly Bermingham on January 24, 2024.
An individual discovered a blood-stained stream in Perry Common Meadows. Since then, the Birmingham City Council has begun investigating this unusual occurrence.
A spokesperson for the council, Jilly Bermingham, shared a photo of the bizarre phenomenon on X, stirring significant concern among local residents. Local councillor David Parker commented, "What the hell is this?"
So far, local authorities and police have not been able to determine the causes of this strange occurrence, according to the British newspaper.
