The Governor of the Tyumen region in Russia, Alexander Moor, announced today, Wednesday, that "the Ishim River in the Siberian area is likely to exceed record high levels in the coming days and flood up to 100 residential communities." Moor made these comments during a televised meeting with President Vladimir Putin. Tyumen is one of the key oil and gas producing regions in Russia.
