Municipal Elections in Northern Lebanon and Akkar on May 19

The Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, signed a decision to call the municipal electoral bodies in the districts of Northern Lebanon and Akkar to elect members of municipal councils and to specify the number of members for each, as well as to elect mukhtars and mukhtar councils and to determine the number of mukhtars and members for each in the districts of Northern Lebanon and Akkar, scheduled for May 19, 2024.
