The "Sovereign Front for Lebanon" announced in a statement that "the Lebanese people are suffering from a state of severe shock due to the government's complete absence from military operations taking place across all Lebanese territories, particularly in the border strip which is suffering, at the very least, from a comprehensive displacement situation. There are fears of Israel's potential establishment of a buffer zone and the annexation of this strip as it did in the Golan Heights."
The Front condemned "the incursion of unruly elements into the border town of Ramish and the launching of fireworks toward Israel to provoke a response that could lead to the bombing of Lebanese towns and the displacement of their residents."
It called on "the Prime Minister and its members to give orders to the Lebanese army and security agencies to deploy in the town of Ramish and its surroundings to reassure the residents and prevent a new displacement operation."
The Front also denounced "the assault on Dr. Makram Rabah by the authorities and the military court" and demanded "an end to this ongoing transgression since the arrest of the Bishop of Jerusalem."
