Australian police announced that they have arrested seven individuals who pose an "unacceptable risk and threat" to the public following anti-terrorism raids involving 400 officers on Wednesday. Two senior officers stated that the individuals are linked to a 16-year-old accused of stabbing an Assyrian bishop and adhere to a "religiously motivated extremist ideology." The police had previously announced the arrest of five individuals.
