Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant announced that his forces will continue operations on the northern front with Lebanon and expand them as needed. In a speech from the border with Lebanon on Friday, he stated that the army is giving a chance for political action regarding developments on the northern front. He said, "We prefer a political solution over a military one, but we are close to the point where the hourglass will turn." He confirmed, "We are committed to restoring a sense of security for the residents of the north by all means." He added, "The army is carrying out excellent military operations and delivering painful strikes to Hezbollah." Israeli Air Force has conducted airstrikes in the areas of Aita al-Shaab, Majdel Zoun, and Marwahin, targeting sites of "Hezbollah," and also carried out artillery strikes on the town of Hula, according to army spokesperson Avichai Adraee via "X."
