The Israeli army announced in a statement today, Tuesday, that it has killed Marwan Issa, a leader in the Hamas movement, in an airstrike carried out two weeks ago in Gaza. A spokesperson for the Israeli army described Marwan Issa as "the number 3 figure in Hamas," claiming he was among the planners of the attack on October 7 that Hamas launched inside Israel. The spokesperson added that another Hamas leader, Ghazi Abu Tamaa, was also killed in this strike, considering him a commander of the "Central Camps Brigade" in Hamas, before he took on the role of being responsible for combat means and procurement for the movement across all its systems.
