The Algerian Petroleum Institute, part of the Sonatrach Group, has signed an agreement with the Mauritanian Oil Company in the fields of training and skill development. Sonatrach announced in a statement on Sunday that this agreement is the culmination of "in-depth" discussions held between the Algerian Petroleum Institute and the Mauritanian Oil Company.
The objective of the agreement is to establish a partnership in the area of skill and expertise training, in line with the memorandum of understanding signed between Sonatrach and the Mauritanian Oil Company, which was reached in 2022. In this context, several areas of partnership related to the development of technical and professional knowledge for the engineers and workers of the Mauritanian Oil Company have been identified, with training courses set to begin in the first quarter of this year.
