It seems that the troubles between Alain Delon, one of the last giants of French cinema, and his son Anthony have reached a peak recently. The international star expressed deep shock over the "media washing" done by his son, and he intends to sue him for statements he claims are aimed at harming him and his daughter Anouchka.
The renowned actor's lawyer, Christophe Ayela, stated yesterday that the 88-year-old actor confirmed his shock at what his son Anthony has done, which he argues is solely aimed at tarnishing the reputation of his daughter Anouchka and harming him while affecting the unique relationship he has always had with her.
Ayela explained that "Alain Delon also told me that, unlike Anouchka, his son Anthony has never really cared about him. Even now, he sees him rarely," adding, "He has once again exploited his name for promotional purposes by publishing a book against him."
The star requested that his lawyer file an initial complaint for defamation and is considering the necessary legal actions to stop the threats against him and his daughter. This response came after an interview published by the French magazine "Paris Match," in which Anthony Delon stated that his father is "weak" and "can no longer bear to see his deteriorating condition."
Anthony noted that his father "doesn't talk much and gets tired or annoyed when we make him repeat himself because his voice isn't always audible anymore." He also stated in the interview that he filed a police report against his sister Anouchka, accusing her of failing to inform him that their father had undergone five cognitive ability tests between 2019 and 2022, and that he "failed all of them."
The French star remarked in statements conveyed by his lawyer's statement, "But what father can endure this?" Additionally, the lawyer indicated that Alain Delon cannot bear the hostility from his son Anthony, who continues to refer to him as "the old man," and has made more shocking statements claiming he spent the last birthday of his life at the end of last year.
