Hebrew Channel 13 revealed that Israel has proposed a new agreement for the hostage deal, which includes "agreeing to withdraw from populated areas and relocating civilians from the south of the strip to the north." A leaked document of the proposal disclosed, yesterday, the terms of a new ceasefire agreement in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners between Israel and Hamas in three phases.
The first phase includes a short ceasefire lasting 10 days, while the second phase stipulates an increase in aid into the besieged Gaza Strip, in addition to the release of all Israeli female soldiers in exchange for the release of a number of Palestinian prisoners to be agreed upon by both sides. The third phase involves a one-month truce in exchange for the release of all Israeli prisoners held by Palestinian factions in Gaza.
Zaher Jabareen, head of the prisoner file in Hamas, stated that "all Palestinian factions agree on a ceasefire first, and then negotiations will take place on anything else."
