The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued a statement today, Saturday, stating: "On November 1 and 2, 2023, an individual fired shots at patrols belonging to the Tripoli Brigade of the Regional Gendarmerie, which were working to remove violations and encroachments on public properties in the area of 'Abou Ali Roundabout - Bab al-Tabbaneh.'
As of today, November 4, 2023, as a result of diligent efforts, one of the brigade's patrols was able to identify the shooter and locate him, leading to his arrest in Bab al-Tabbaneh. His name is H. M. (born in 1989, Lebanese), nicknamed 'the Soldier.'
Investigations are ongoing under the supervision of the relevant judiciary."
