A Spanish media report revealed today that Al-Ahli Jeddah made an offer to sign Luka Modrić, the midfielder of Real Madrid, last summer. According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca," Modrić received an enticing offer of 80 million euros to join Al-Ahli Jeddah last summer. It was mentioned that the 38-year-old Modrić rejected the Saudi offer and preferred to renew his contract with Real Madrid for another season.
