The Iraqi Ministry of Oil confirmed today, Monday, that "revenues for the last month exceeded 8 billion dollars." A statement from the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) noted that "the quantity of crude oil exports, according to the final statistics issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), reached (102) million and (975) thousand and (782) barrels, with revenues amounting to (8) billion and (481) million and (558) thousand dollars."
The ministry explained that "the total quantities exported from the crude oil fields in central and southern Iraq in November amounted to (101) million and (764) thousand and (620) barrels, while the quantities exported from the Qayyarah field were 1 million and (38) thousand and (779) barrels, and the exports to Jordan were (172) thousand and (383) barrels."
It added that "the average price for a barrel reached (82.365) dollars," noting that "the exported quantities were loaded by (33) international companies of various nationalities from the ports of Basra, Khour al-Zubair, floating terminals, the Turkish port of Ceyhan, and the modern Kirkuk depot via tank trucks from the Qayyarah field."
