Arrest of French National Under International Arrest Warrant in Morocco

Moroccan police arrested a French national under an arrest warrant issued by French authorities for crimes including "premeditated murder and international drug trafficking." Sources from "Hespress" stated that the arrest occurred after his details were found in Interpol's database, indicating he was subject to a Red Notice issued at the request of French judicial authorities to enforce prison sentences. This was related to his involvement in cocaine trafficking and participation in a murder as part of drug trafficking gang rivalries in France. The police of the Marrakech security department arrested the 35-year-old man on Wednesday. The same sources revealed that he is also suspected of forgery and using forged documents, as a search conducted at his home in Marrakech at the time of his arrest uncovered forged French and foreign identity documents carrying his personal details.
