A new study revealed that traffic disrupts the growth of young birds. Researchers found that unhatched birds exposed to the noise generated by urban traffic experience long-term negative effects on their health and development. The same study concluded that birds disturbed by noise during the early stages of their lives produce less than half the number of offspring compared to their unexposed counterparts.
