Maronite Patriarch Bechara Al-Rahi received former minister Mohammed Shuqair at the patriarchal headquarters in Bkerke, leading a delegation from the "We Are All Beirut" group to discuss the current situation. After the meeting, Shuqair stated, "The visit was for congratulations, and we commended the Patriarch's positions, especially the call for the extension of the army commander, and we urged him to continue pushing for the election of a president because there is neither celebration, stability, nor economy without a president." Shuqair indicated that the group's goals are to achieve parity between Christians and Muslims and true partnership. In response to a question about the economic situation, he said, "It was better before the Gaza war," considering that "the celebration is incomplete due to what is happening in Gaza and the south."
