Earthquake Strikes Northern West Bank and Lebanon: What Was Its Magnitude?

The Geological Survey Authority announced that an earthquake was registered today, Thursday, felt by residents in northern West Bank. According to preliminary estimates, it had a magnitude of 3.2. Seismological stations in Syria recorded four earthquakes from yesterday, Wednesday, until 8 AM today, Thursday. An earthquake was also recorded in the sea northwest of Beirut at a distance of 72 km, with a magnitude of 2.0 on the Richter scale at 2:16 AM. Syrian stations also detected an earthquake northeast of Raqqa at 37 km at 3:06 AM, with a magnitude of 2.2, and an earthquake in the sea west of Tartus at 26 km with a magnitude of 1.4 at 7:57 AM.
