Israeli Army: We carried out an airstrike against an Islamic Jihad command center in a hospital in Gaza

The Israeli army announced on Sunday that they "conducted an air strike on a command center operated by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement in the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Hospital in the Gaza Strip." They clarified that "the command center and the terrorists were accurately targeted, with the aim of minimizing damage to civilians in the hospital area." They added that "the Al-Aqsa Hospital building was not damaged and operations within it were not affected." Israel claims that "Hamas and other armed groups are using hospitals in Gaza as their bases" and has distributed videos and images to support this claim. Hamas and medical teams deny this.
