Political Developments between Geagea and the EU Ambassador

The head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, discussed the current political developments in Lebanon and regional changes, particularly the Gaza war and its repercussions on Lebanon and the region, with the new EU Ambassador Sandra Duval in Maarab. The meeting was attended by the head of political affairs at the EU mission, Hanna Seferin, former Minister of Foreign Affairs Richard Kyumjian, as well as Elsy Ouis and Tony Darwish from the agency. During the meeting, Geagea called on the European Union to exert its influence towards achieving a two-state solution, as it is the only path to establishing peace and ending the senseless wars that only bring more killing, destruction, and tragedies.
