Zelensky Dismisses Commander of Ukrainian Support Forces

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed Alexander Yakovits, the commander of the support forces within the Ukrainian Armed Forces, less than two months after his appointment to the position. The decree for Yakovits's dismissal was published today, Friday, on the official website of the Ukrainian presidency. Under another decree, Yakovits has been appointed as the head of the State Special Transport Service. Previously, Alexander Yakovits led the engineering troops in the support forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
