Title: Husband Murders Lebanese Wife and Daughter in Norway: The Crime's Motives Revealed

A person named "A.A." has committed the murder of his Lebanese wife, Iman Hijar, and their daughter, Maryam, in Norway. Details indicate that two bodies were found at a private residence in the city of Kristiansand, after someone visiting the house alerted the police. The investigation showed that the victims were a mother and her eight-year-old daughter, according to police inspector Cecilie Pedersen in a press conference.

A neighbor who was at the home at the same time stated: "I was wearing earplugs, but I heard screaming and wailing at a high level. After that, the police cordoned off the entire area. The sound is still in my head." Meanwhile, the director of education in Kristiansand, Kristine Edith Robstad, remarked, "It will be a very sad day for the school children."

According to information, Iman had been living in Norway for 16 years and had visited her family in the city of Tripoli about two months ago with her daughter. Two weeks after returning to Norway, she finalized her divorce from her husband, as reported by the newspaper "Al-Jarida."

Additional information confirmed that the victim's husband, who is Palestinian, has been in hiding since the day before, raising suspicions regarding his involvement in the crime, especially as there are reports within the victim's family that he had threatened Iman Hijar, stating, "If we get divorced, I will slaughter you and kill our daughter and myself."
