Title: Jamail: Lebanon Needs International Pressure on Iran to Overcome Its Crisis

Lebanese Kataeb Party leader Sami Jamail stated in an intervention on France International Radio (RFI) that "getting Lebanon out of its current situation requires intense international efforts, as the power of Hezbollah comes from Iran and the funding it provides." He emphasized that the problem in Lebanon is not local and requires international solutions. He stressed the necessity for the international community to apply the required pressure to implement international resolutions, particularly Resolution 1559, which calls for disarming militias, and Resolution 1701.
