Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), revealed today, Sunday, that Israel has informed the international organization that it will no longer approve the sending of food convoys from the agency to northern Gaza. “This is a shameful matter that indicates a deliberate obstruction of lifesaving assistance amid a man-made famine. These restrictions must be lifted,” he added in a post on X.
