Iran Misplaces Palestinian Flag During Visit of Islamic Jihad Delegation

The Iranian Foreign Ministry made an embarrassing mistake during the reception of a Palestinian delegation to the country. While welcoming Ziyad al-Nakhaleh, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the Palestinian flag appeared next to the Iranian flag. However, during the discussion session with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Sudanese flag appeared on the table instead of the Palestinian flag. The Palestinian flag consists of three equal horizontal stripes, from top to bottom: black, white, and green, with a red isosceles triangle at the hoist. In contrast, the Sudanese flag features three horizontal colors of red, white, and black, with a green triangle on the left.
