Title: Security Forces Arrest Drug Dealer in Southern Suburb

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division announced that "as part of the follow-up carried out by the Internal Security Forces to pursue those involved in drug trafficking and promotion in various Lebanese regions, information was received by the Information Branch regarding an individual promoting drugs in the areas of the southern suburb. Following this, orders were given to the specialized units in the branch to carry out field and investigative procedures to identify and arrest the mentioned dealer. As a result of investigations and inquiries, his identity was established; he is known as: F. F. (born in 1976, Lebanese). On 29-02-2024, after a thorough surveillance and monitoring operation, one of the patrols from the Information Branch managed to catch him in the act in the Al-Amrousieh area of Shweifat while he was promoting drugs on a Suzuki motorcycle, which was confiscated. Upon searching him and the motorcycle, they seized: 126 nylon bags containing hashish, 12 stainless steel bags containing hashish, 44 nylon bags containing marijuana, 24 plastic capsules containing cocaine, 10 plastic capsules containing phenethylamine, and a sum of money. During the investigation, he confessed to the charges against him regarding his promotion of drugs to several customers in the southern suburb. Legal procedures were carried out against him, and he was referred with the seized items to the relevant authority based on a judicial directive."
