Hamas Mourns the Leader of the Al-Qassam Brigades Omar Dughles

The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourns the leader of the Al-Qassam Brigades, Omar Dughles, who passed away today, Wednesday. The movement stated in a press release today: "With the pride of believers confident in God's victory and relief, and with the dignity of the mujahideen holding onto the flame of resistance and jihad, counting their work and struggles and their lives and deaths for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) conveys its condolences for the fallen Al-Qassam leader Omar Mahmoud Dughles (Abu Mahmoud), one of the exiles from Marj al-Zuhur, and one of the early mujahideen of the Al-Qassam Brigades in the West Bank."

"He passed away today, Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the age of 55, in the context of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, after a long period of patience due to his injury in the field of jihad and resistance that kept him from movement for about 15 years, moving on to his Lord after a blessed life filled with giving, struggle, sacrifice, and steadfastness in the way of Allah. We consider him among the pure martyrs, and we do not ascribe purity to Allah."
