Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is scheduled to visit Russia in February, as announced by his advisor Mahmoud Al-Habbash. In a conversation with the "Novosti" agency, Al-Habbash stated, "A specific date has not been set yet, but the visit will likely take place in February, as the month has been agreed upon, but the day has not been determined." Al-Habbash emphasized that during the Palestinian President's visit, discussions will focus on enhancing bilateral relations between Moscow and Ramallah, as well as the political situation in the Middle East, taking into account Russia's key role in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people. Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov mentioned that Mahmoud Abbas's visit to Russia was originally scheduled for November 15 of last year but was postponed at the request of the Palestinian side.
