World Bank Official Warns of Ukraine's Potential Bankruptcy

A World Bank official warned of the possibility of Ukraine declaring bankruptcy, emphasizing that Kyiv's public finances are in a "disastrous" condition, and the country heavily relies on foreign aid. The official stated to the TASS agency that Ukraine could face bankruptcy next year unless Western countries agree to write off or restructure Ukrainian debts. Kyiv significantly depends on financial aid from the West; however, foreign support has dwindled in recent months, with the $60 billion U.S. aid package still stalled in Congress.
