Al-Ba'rini: The Bloc May Head Towards Announcing the Death of Its Initiative

Member of the National Moderation Bloc, MP Walid Al-Ba'rini, announced that the bloc may head towards announcing the death of its initiative amid a sharp division among political forces. He pointed out that matters are still at a standstill regarding the bloc's initiative and the movement of the quintet. In an interview with "Voice of Lebanon", Al-Ba'rini noted the differences among the members of the quintet but emphasized that what is needed is for local forces to find common ground that leads to an agreement on the presidential elections. Regarding the municipal elections, he confirmed that the bloc supports the extension of municipal terms given the security situation in the south.
