Prime Minister Najib Mikati contacted Finance Minister Youssef Khalil and requested him to stop the payment of additional bonuses that were allocated to certain public administration employees only. The discussion on this matter will continue in the upcoming Cabinet meeting tomorrow outside the agenda. Earlier today, the Prime Minister met with French Ambassador Hervé Magro, as well as Joseph Torbey, Chairman of the Union of Arab Banks, and the Union's Secretary-General Wissam Fattouh.
