Houthis: The Red Sea Will Be a Flashpoint

The spokesman for the Houthis in Yemen, Mohammed Abdul Salam, announced today that an American warship attempted to fire on a reconnaissance drone belonging to the group, which was conducting "reconnaissance" activities in the Red Sea. However, one of the missiles exploded close to a ship heading south. Abdul Salam stated, "While a reconnaissance aircraft from the Yemeni Navy was conducting reconnaissance work over the Red Sea, an American frigate opened fire in a hysterical manner with multiple weapons... where one of the missiles exploded near a ship heading south in the Red Sea." He added that the ship belonged to the Republic of Gabon and was coming from one of the Russian ports. Abdul Salam warned, "The Red Sea will be a flashpoint if America and its allies continue their bullying, and the countries bordering the Red Sea must recognize the real threats to their national security."
