Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk revealed on Wednesday that "the attack that resulted in the death of relief workers, including a Polish citizen, in Gaza and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's response have caused understandable anger and tension in relations with Warsaw." He wrote on the social media platform X: "Mr. Prime Minister Netanyahu, and Mr. Ambassador Livni, the vast majority of Poles expressed full solidarity with Israel after the Hamas attack... today you are putting this solidarity to a really difficult test. The tragic attack on the volunteers and your response provoke understandable anger."
