US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, during a visit to Israel on Wednesday, noted that "the progress in increasing the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza is real but should be accelerated in light of the enormous needs in the Palestinian sector." Blinken told reporters that "Israel has made significant concessions regarding a proposed agreement that would see hostages released in exchange for a ceasefire, and that Hamas must accept the proposal."
