The Mufti of the Republic received a parliamentary delegation from the Bekaa region, which included MPs Bilal Hashimi, Winal Al-Suleh, and Melhem Al-Hujairi, who congratulated him on the extension of his term. They discussed general affairs, the situation in the Bekaa region, and recent developments in Lebanon.
Mufti Deryan met with a delegation from Talabaya, accompanied by MP Bilal Hashimi, who said: "We came today from the Talabaya area in the central Bekaa to congratulate His Eminence on the extension that we all need, especially during the current times the country is facing its crises. These crises have affected every household and every region. His Eminence is a guarantee for saving the situation and uniting the community, as we notice differing opinions among them. He is the only figure present who helps to bring us together. We were in a friendly meeting earlier with the northern Bekaa. We came today to congratulate, and we have some matters related to the situation in the Talabaya area. His Eminence was responsive and will try to support us in overcoming these new issues affecting all of us."
