Israeli Shelling in Southern Villages and Night Escalation

Israeli shelling on southern villages continues, with reports this morning of 3 shells landing in Wadi al-Jamal, 3 shells on Hill al-Ruwais, and 2 shells on the outskirts of Hula from the direction of al-Abad. Additionally, the Israeli army escalated its attacks on southern villages in the western and central sectors late last night, with Israeli warplanes striking the outskirts of the towns of Ma'laya and al-Qlayla. Its heavy artillery bombarded the outskirts of several towns in the western sector, as well as Jabal al-Labounah and Jabal al-Alam. Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew continuously throughout the last night and into this morning over the villages in the western and central sectors, reaching the outskirts of the city of Tyre. The Israeli army also continued to release illuminating bombs over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line. It is worth noting that rescue and civil defense associations issued consecutive statements, and vehicles toured the villages and residential neighborhoods using loudspeakers to warn residents and civilians against approaching the targeted areas due to fears of repeated strikes in the same locations, leaving rescue operations to the specialized civil defense teams.
