Shooting Incident Results in One Death and Two Fleeing Between Smugglers and Army

The Border Brigade of the army exchanged fire with smugglers in the area of Deir al-Ashaier on the Lebanese-Syrian border, resulting early this morning in the death of "K. A." from the Syrian village of Deir al-Ashaier, and the serious injury of "A. W.", who was subsequently transported to Rashaya Government Hospital for treatment, while two others who were part of the group fled the scene.
