Fiorentina, a competitor in the Italian Serie A, announced today, Monday, that Jo Baroni, the club's General Manager, remains in the hospital on life support after suffering a heart attack. The Fiorentina match against Atalanta scheduled for yesterday, Sunday, was postponed after Baroni collapsed while leaving the hotel where the team was staying. Baroni, who will turn 58 next Wednesday, was transferred to a hospital in Milan. Fiorentina stated: "Jo's vital functions are being supported by artificial respiration. No diagnosis has been determined."
