Al-Najma and Al-Ahed Draw, Big Win for Ansar in Zgharta

The teams of Al-Ahed, the league champion, and Al-Najma, the Lebanese Cup champion, played to a 1-1 draw in a match held at the President Fouad Shehab Stadium in Jounieh, concluding the second round of the 63rd Lebanese Football League. Al-Ahed opened the scoring through Nigerian Samad Kadri in the 25th minute, and Al-Najma equalized with Hassan Korani in the 30th minute. The match was heavily attended by fans and featured numerous missed opportunities from both teams. This result raised Al-Ahed's points to 4, matching Al-Najma's total, while Bourj leads the standings with 6 points.

Ansar's next match will see them host Tripoli next Sunday at the President Rashid Karami Stadium in the northern capital, while Salam will visit Al-Hekmeh next Friday at the President Fouad Shehab Stadium in Jounieh.
