The Tunisian Export Promotion Center received a Russian delegation as part of efforts to enhance trade and economic relations between the two countries. The Tunisian center stated in a press release on its Facebook page that the Director General of the Export Promotion Center, Mourad Ben Hussein, welcomed a Russian delegation comprised of representatives from the city of Dmitrov, headed by the city's mayor, Ilya Bonuchevny, along with the President of the Tunisian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism, Kristina Romanenko.
The meeting, which also included officials from the Tunisian center, discussed the upcoming St. Petersburg Economic Forum scheduled for June. The center received an invitation to participate in the events of this forum, where, for the first time, a round table dedicated to Tunisia will be held as part of this global economic event, which will feature a delegation from the Tunisian business sector.
Additionally, the discussion covered the current state of bilateral trade and available export opportunities, as well as ways to enhance cooperation in trade and economic fields between Tunisia and Russia.
