The European Union Imposes Sanctions on Settlers in the West Bank

The European Union announced today, Friday, that it "approved sanctions against four individuals and two entities due to the violence perpetrated by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank." The Council of the European Union stated in a statement that "the listed entities are (La Familia), a far-right Jewish group that claims Jewish superiority, and 'Youth of the Hills'." It added that "two leading figures from Youth of the Hills, Meir Ettinger and Elisha Yared, have also been listed."
