Russian Official Accuses Ukraine of Being Behind Concert Attack

Russian state media reported today that senior security official Nikolai Patrushev stated that "Ukrainian special services" were behind the shooting that took place last month during a concert near Moscow, adding that Ukraine is under the control of the United States. Patrushev, Secretary of the Russian Security Council, did not provide any evidence for this latest claim from Moscow regarding Ukraine's involvement. Ukraine denied any connection to the attack, which resulted in at least 144 fatalities, and the United States stated that only elements of the Islamic State group were responsible for the attack.
