The Lebanese Meteorological Department announced that "a cold weather system will dominate Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean over the next two days due to a low-pressure system in Eastern Mediterranean, which will gradually dissipate by Tuesday morning, and the weather will stabilize afterwards."
The forecasted weather in Lebanon is as follows:

Scattered and intermittent rain will fall during the day, expected to intensify at night along with the possibility of thunder and lightning, and active winds at times. Snow will fall at elevations above 1300 meters, with dense fog forming in the mountains, especially at night.
**Monday:** Generally cloudy with intermittent rain expected to sometimes intensify, accompanied by thunder and lightning, with active winds picking up at times in the northern region, reaching speeds of up to 55 km/h. Snow will fall at elevations above 1300 meters, and dense fog will persist in the high areas. Rain severity will decrease at night with wide openings in the clouds.
**Tuesday:** Partly cloudy with an additional rise in temperatures, returning to seasonal averages. Fog will form in the mountains during the morning, with light, scattered rain, especially in the northern region.
