Italian Foreign Ministry Summons Russian Ambassador Due to Company Nationalization

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced that he directed the summoning of Russian Ambassador to Rome, Alexey Paramonov, following the decision to transfer management of the Italian company "Ariston" in Russia to a Russian company. This was reported by Tajani on his official page on the social media platform "X," where he wrote: "I have instructed the Secretary-General of the Foreign Ministry to summon our Russian ambassador, and the government seeks clarification regarding the nationalization of the 'Ariston Thermo' group, which also operates with Brussels and Germany." Tajani also stated that he had previously contacted the Italian embassy in Moscow regarding the decision to transfer ownership of the company to the interim management of "Gazprom's home systems," describing this step as "unexpected."
